Serious Security flaw in Windows XP

Just watching tech TV and they reported there is a serious security flaw in Windows XP that would allow someone to delete files off you computer just by going to a web page. This could even be your whole windows directory rendering your computer useless.
Remedy is to DL and update Windows XP with SP1.

If you can't do because you are on dial up or for another reason... then search for a file called uplddrvinfo.htm and rename it. They said you could delete that file too but I would probably just rename.
