Serious Sam problem: flashing textures

trmiv

Lifer
I just bought Serious Sam, and I can't get into it because of this problem. There are textures flashing everywhere in the game, in the first level, triangles suddenly flash with a different texture, it's driving me nuts. I'm playing the game in 1024x768x32bit, v-sync is on, and quality is set to normal. I've tried lowering the AGP aperature size, but that did nothing. I looked on the Geforce faq about flashing textures, and most of this answers seem like stabs in the dark. Anyone have any ideas? My config is linked below. I'm using the 6.50 drivers for my geforce.

Well, I managed to fix my own problem. If anyone wants to know, I did it by disabling AGP 4X, and going back down to 2X.

trmiv,

Best buy has the game for $15.... Is the game worth it as I was not going to buy it but for that price maybe 🙂

Waiting to see what the price of Tribes 2 was going to be at BB

P.S. I only play online

So far I'd yea it is definely worth $15. Really fun, don't expect a story or strategy. Just nice eye candy and blowing a lot of stuff up. Great midless fun. I bought the game as a cheap game to hold me over until Black and White comes out later this month. I'm not sure about online play because I haven't even tried it yet, but the single player is fun so far.
