Serious Sam legal question.

I just bought Serious Sa: The Second Encounter. I had read on a review site that you can play on a bunch of computers on a LAN with one copy. I tried to find the legal documentation on the game but couldn't. Im wondering if installing on several computers is an illegal advantage because there is no CD key, or whether Croteam intended for people to use it like a 'spawn', similar to Starcraft.

Go ahead and install it on a bunch of computers and start a LAN game. If it works fine, don't worry about it. If they didn't want you to do that they would have coded it so that it wouldn't work. Have fun.

The SSII police are not going to come knocking on your door.

Really? Did he get an especially hot room because of it, or was he forced into the "No. Pics. Ever." Room? 😀

My Lord NO! Yes he went to hell, but that room is reserved for the Hitlers and Stalins of the world.

i would just rather not cheat the developers who work so hard, put up with so many complaints from players, and amazingly come out with a fun game! no one has answered my question.

is it legal? if so how does it work?
if not then ill have to get another copy, bummer $10 extra dollars. 🙂
