Wasn't as good as Second Encounter, IMO. It deviated from the large open areas of SE to a great extent, and was very heavily railed in some levels...not fun. And man, the final level...ridiculously difficult on Hard. Haven't played SS3 (yet).
SS and SS2 were the only games to give me serious wrist fatigue, and I usta play Quake for 6+ hours at a time. I agree with Lazlo on the game environment. It was done to make the game more difficult, but as it was it was very hard on the higher skill levels.
