Damn this game got some steep requirements. My bro's 1.2 ghz athlon and gf2 pro 64mb can't even keep above 30 fps in outdoor scenes at 1024X768 max details. This game needs some monster requirements, and the graphics aren't all that hot either.

I dont think its some much the eye candy that kills the fps as it is the game engine doing the Vast outdoor levels and mass amount of badguys on the screen.....

Oh and BTW that Ge-force 2 is KILLING your fps time for a upgrade.

Yo,
Yeah, from all the benchmarks I've been reading, you need a GeForce3 Ti500 to run Serious Sam2 at a respectable rate.

Hard to believe that my GeForce2 Ultra's already inadequate for a top-of-the-line FPS.

Are you kidding? The graphics on this game are astounding, IMHO. The way it is able to render so many enemies without slowing down is something I haven't seen in another FPS of this level. I'm running in on a GeForce3 Ti200 OC'd to 250/550 and everything runs extrememly smooth at 1024x768x32 full. It's a modern game for modern hardware, but if your system can handle it, the engine is very immpressive.
