Serious Sam 1 and 2 freeze up.

I get freeze ups in these games with multiplayer only. Isn't that wierd? I can play single player all day long and it doesn't freeze up. AND no other game freezes up when I play on the internet. Does anyone else get lockups in these games? They happen after about 5 minutes of playing

I had all kinds a problems in SS1 multiplayer... - sorry didnt try to fix it....

I used to have this happen when I played half-life. This was back before I built my computers and it just had a built in video card and network card. Whenever I played, the two of them being used at the same time so intensly would cause my computer to freeze. I can see that's not your problem, but I hope that helped in a tiny way.

Is your NIC in the number 1 PCI slot? If so, move it to another slot.

SS1 has a 1.05 patch; SS2 is brand new. The 1.05 patch more or less brings SS1 up to SS2's code base(SS2 is more of an expansion pack; new levels, weapons, ect; and a couple new engine features), so the problem lies either with his system, or the current revision of the Serious Engine.
