Serious question about offensive material

While I understand the legality of marijuana in the United States, or lack there of, I always considered AT to be international. There are many people here at AT with different needs, ideas, cultures, religions, races. This is why AT is great. Here is a place where we can often forget about borders, barriers. Barriers in life. Here is a place where the vast majority of us have one thing in common, and that one thing binds us together, like a family, like a society.

I came home tonight after a very long day at work, and was just about to,... relax. And I find a locked thread, about, ..., the subject at hand (in fact we saw a hand in a few of the picks ).

This one was probably a little overboard with the linked pics, the direct reference, and it was worthy of being locked (not James WORTHY, I mean it was right to lock it).





AT is a business like any other, they gotta advertise. Some of us understand that.

But my mentionable beef is with other threads that are not quite so,.... high..., on the offensive scale.

Let's remember the little fiasco recently in P&N.

Don't let AT be a corporate, RRR-sided sight.

Please be considerate to those of us who like to occasionally,.... relax, and be mature about it. Just as they do in Europe, and Canada, and Mexico. This was a popular thread before it was locked up (like an Afghani at Gitmo).



Can we get a line, so we don't cross it?

I agree let the euro-trash talk about pot, but you BOY live in the US of A....It is illegal here and this site is based and ran out of the US...

IMO anybody who smokes pot is a low-life, and getting dumber by the day!!!

theres just so much about this post not to like, from the multiple smileys, stupid jokes (not james Worthy...give me a break) to the implication that the "vast majority" of forum members like to "relax" as you put it.

i don't "relax" anymore but thats besides the point. i think that relaxing shouldn't even be illegal, that is until i see a post like this.

try posting before relaxing, lol

I don't know what thread this is about since I rarely venture into OT, but one problem I could see for AT is that there are alot of kids around here.
If some 13 year old reads about marijuana on AT and does something stupid, I could see some asshat parents going after the big bad AT since it's clearly their fault.

Of course, I would just prefer to make AT an 18+ site, which would also have the pleasant side effect of removing 90+ percent of OT
