Serious Problem with Laptop

I have a sony s-360P and once in awhile, the laptop will shut down without any sign why . when i reboot into windows, i dont even get any error messages. any ideas???
 
temps? how long have you had it, how long has it been doing this, has it been doing it the whole time you have had it, help us out a little more

Yup. There's an option in Windows that makes your computer automatically reboot every time there's an error. It's really stupid. To disable it, right-click on My Computer (icon on the desktop) and go to Properties. From there, go to the Advanced tab, then the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Uncheck "Automatically restart". Enjoy your stay with Windows 🙂
 
my roommates laptop used to do this.
all it took was a can of compressed air to clear out the dust in the vents, it still overheats like crazy but it doesnt shutdown anymore 😛
