I have a Uniwill 258kao laptop purchased through Mwave.com. It is equipped with A64 3400+, 512 MB Ram, R9700 mobile, and a 80 gig HDD.
Recently I have a problem every time I try to load a CD or DVD into the drive. As soon as I slide the drive into the computer, it spools up like normal, and whatever is on the CD boots up like normal, but within like 10 seconds, the computer completely freezes. The drive continues spinning, sometimes making the whole laptop vibrate while making a buzzing-vibrating sound. The eject button is still responsive, however, and I'm able to remove the CD. However the computer still stays frozen and I have to reset it every time.
Any help greatly appreciated.
