Serious problem - My friends are playing HALO - the controllers suck.

All of us PC Gamers are getting killed at simple games like Halo simply because the X-Box controllers suck.
Seems, like someone would have made a way to hook up a keyboard and mouse to the Xbox.
 
I do fine on both, its a different game all together. I mean it would'nt be very fair if you got to use the keyboard and they were stuck with controllers.

If you suck at it, it's your fault. All of the players are bound to the same rules/limitations, so you cannot blame the equipment.
 
Ok, what ever. I suck.
Anyway the question is does anyone make a different controller for the game that incldes a mouse and keypad?

I feel your pain man. In Halo for the PC, I utterly dominate. Switch over to the Xbox and one's skills (honed on a KB/mouse) drop down to mediocre at best. I hate playing FPSes with a controller.

First, now that you cryed us all a sweet little river, I went out and got you some wood, a hammer, and a small pile of nails. So how about you do us all a favor and build a bridge and get the fvck over it mmkay? There is no keyboard/mouse adapter for the Xbox, and there will never be one. Contrary to popular belief, its a console, not a computer. Get over it. :roll:

Without the Autoaim in Xbox halo, me (on KB+mouse) > #1 Xbox halo player. SIMPLY because of the controller difference. That doesn't show you how much difference it is, then I don't know what well.
 
Normally I prefer kb+mouse but I've only played Halo on Xbox, so it would feel weird playing it with a kb+mouse, would take a lot of getting used to. Either way, I still suck at it 😀

would anyone want to coop campaign when Halo 2 comes out?:beer: I'm too much of a wimp to go at it alone if there's flood in it again. I hate those b!tches 🙁
 
I'd bet money that if you put console FPS players against PC FPS players on the same game - PC users would consistently own simply because of the better control over the game.

Actually, I was the co-leader / founder for the now dead cal-invite team BiO (ranked #8th in North America by Gotfrag.com during our prime).

I just can't believe anyone would even THINK they have an augment that controller doesn't matter.

HALO XBOX doesn't blow ass, you just can't compare it to HALP PC. Its apple and oranges, since everyone is using a controller on the xbox the playing field is even. Him getting a keyboard would just be unfair.
