I had previously written that I was having a problem that involved Internet Explorer 5.5 and windowsME. I noted that I would use hotmail and reply to a message I often would get a error, especially when highlighting text to delete. I posted this problem before and others noted they were having it.
Well just recently I decided to scrap WindowsME for a more stable WIN2K platform. I had no problems at all, that is until I just yesterday decided to upgrade to I.E. 5.5, and that is when my problem appeared again in hotmail. Once again I hit "reply" to a message highlighted the text and then hit delete. At once I recieved an error message and I.E. started acting funny. I then needed to reboot my computer. Note: I had not previously needed to reboot my computer for 6 days until after the upgrade to 5.5. I believe I am going to uninstall I.E. 5.5 and revert back to 5.1 until Microsoft gets their act together.
