I live in California and I have been a 49er fan since about 1965.
I am moving to Ohio in 2020.
How can I watch 49er games without Direct TV? I need to be able to record them first.
TIA

Why, for Crom's sake, would you move to Ohio?
3 kids and 6 grandkids. Plus, I cant get the same house for 1/3 less. But, I have to live in Ohio. BUT! I can buy a suppressor and walk out of a gun store with a gun! And it's 1/2 half the distance to the daughter in Oklahoma.

Still looking for a GOOD reason to live in Ohio...

Scientists have proven time and time again...that without a reasonable doubt...there is no intelligent life in Ohio.

Pretty sure you can get the NFL ticket on PS4 without having Direct TV. I'm assuming there are other pieces of hardware with the same thing in place.

S.C. and make them visit.

We could be neighbors....not my funeral home neighbors but my live neighbors.

welcome in advance!

this past year, i think nfl ticket was available only with directv. but in the past couple weeks, directv has talked about about breaking up with the NFL. so it might be on something new for the 2019/2020 season.

i don't think it's been decided what exactly they're doing yet though. so will have to wait and see.

I have met a lot of fantastic and intelligent Ohioans, but met them all in California, where they escaped to.

The PS4 runs a DirecTV app for access, it's an add on to those who already purchaced the NFL ticket. I think DirecTV might now offer the ticket without being a full DirecTV installation, OP should check out DirecTV's site since they hold the sole North America NFL contract.

I call it two zeros with a hi in the middle. In any case, I will be serious for a moment. The state is very nice geographically. There are also some very good medical facilities and educational institutions, but it is also pretty conservative and tends toward redneckism, especially in the southern part of the state. There are a lot worse places one could move to though. Cost of living is reasonably low and the climate is decent.

This was my best solution for trying to watch Josh Allen and the Bills play last season. DTv might be switching things up this coming season so check with them, but I know the NFL Pass didn't allow for live viewing. They advertise being able to watch any game, but it's 24 hours later I believe.

The NFL Sundy Ticket price is about $300 I believe. This is insanely expensive. There are work-arounds such as getting a student discount which drops it to $100.

One alternative is NFL Game Pass, which is $100. It will show a condensed form of the games, which is a plus since it cuts out all of the commercial breaks. The negative, and it is a big one, is the games are not live. You can only view them on-demand after the game has fully aired.

The Yahoo Sports app or the NFL App (both provided by Verizon) will allow you to stream whatever local game it is in your geographical area to your phone, but since it's in Ohio, it means no Niner games. You'll get the Bungles or the Brownies.

I'd be OK with that. I record the games and then start watching after 2 hours has elapsed. That way I can skip the commercials.

It's basically Kentucky. The closer you get to the border, the less teeth you see in the people around you.

Cheaper than Sunday Ticket is the NFL Gamepass. I'm a season ticket holder for the Titans and the NFL always activates my NFL account. NFL Gamepass is like having all the games on DVR. You can watch them on PS4/Xbox/PC/NFL App....select a game and stream it after the live game is complete. You can watch it with no commercials condensed and see the whole game in around 35 minutes if you want. I think it's like $99 for a year, but may be cheaper.
