Don't feel like dealing with Abit tech support yet so I will ask you guys.
I recently installed Abit VH6 motherboard and have encountered several problems.
When i shut the computer off for the night and turn it back on in the morning all the CMOS data is lost. This does not happen when I shut the computer off for 2-3 hours at a time, just overnight. The RTC is also not keeping time at all. My first thought was that I had a bad battery, but I tested it and it is running at 3V just like it is supposed to be. The computer also boots itself up without turning on the power switch when I turn the surge protector that it is plugged into on. This is a random occurence and does not happen every time I turn the surge protector on. Any help would be appreciated.
