Serious Issue with my X1900XT :(

Hello people, alter doing some testing with new BIOSes for my Motherboard (MSI K8N Neo4/SLI), my XP SP2 OS stopped loading. It started loading but alter a few seconds, the screen goes blank, and the monitor turned off (because of the lack of signal from the video card). The only way now for me to get to the desktop is starting in VGA mode or safe mode. The case is that if i uninstall the Catalyst drivers, XP starts normally, but again if I install the video drivers, it doesent boot up normally.
The first thing I did to test the video card was installing it in an Asrock motherboard CPU that I have around, and after uninstalling the nvidia 6100 onboard drivers it had, I tried that rig with my BBA X1900XT 512Mb, and it booted succesfully, but again once installed the catalyst drivers the same problem ocurred.
Could it be that my VGA was damaged? (it cost a lot of Money here in Argentina and im very sad now)
I tried with catalyst 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4, reinstalled .Net 2.0, tried without CCC, but the same happens?
I tried different BIOSes for my motherboard, the oficial ones cos at first i was trying the Overclockers beta ones (when the problem occured)

Now meanwhile i recieve any feedback im building an AM2 rig with an ECS video onboard mobo (its crap like asrock but its the only thing i have), and im gonna do a clean XP SP2 install there to see if it works.. I hope?

What do you suggest me to do?

Thanks in advice for your time.

PD: obviously im testing everthing at stock speeds.
