Serious Folding comes at a price !

After 3 months of this, I have figured out what it costs to average 1000 points a day in F@H

Now that the weather permits, no A/C, I have disconnected all the internal fans I can, disconnected and shut down my external SCSI array (over 150 watts right there), and no monitors on, and I now have a 2 month average, $75-85 a month just to F@H on 10 3ghz(Intel equiv, and average of my 10) cpu systems (8 and 1x2 cpu's)

Now if some of the rest of you (10-20 of you) could do the same, we could take back what the Dutch power Cows took from us !!!!!

Come on guys, Black Friday is coming !!!!! Buy Buy Buy !!!!!! More systems. get on-board graphics to save power ! No CD or floppy ! (after setup) I am going for more !!!!! I already have one 4-way kvm serving 2, I need at least 2 more systems, and maybe another kvm with system to match !!!

I wish I had the money to spend to have a fleet of systems, unfortunately I'm merely 17 and thus cannot afford anything near that much. If we could get the cows back behind us, though, that'd be great, so hopefully others can start buying 😀

I'm also 17, but I've managed to accumulate multiple computers over the years... folding as amdrok for Team ABIT... I wonder if we could merge Team ABIT and AnandTech into one super team? That'd really be sweet... ABIT is averaging 30K a day and isn't moving much lol... only about 400pts/day from me...
