serious error on boot?

I was getting a similar error "The system has recovered from a serious error" the last 2 days and wasn't able to resolve it myself. I kept sending the error reports to microsoft but they didn't have any info on it yet.

Anyway, I finally just popped in the cd, booted to it and chose Setup, then Repair existing installation. That cured it. Some file must have been corrupt or something.

The error message details were regarding BCP1 or something. Not much like most crashes I see.
