Ok i just changed my frequencies from 3-3-3-8 to 2-2-2-6 and raised the voltage from 2.6 to 2.7 and my computer is just beeping. I know that its not able to run that fast but i turn it on, i restart, i hit del i do everything and nothing comes up it just keeps beeping. How do i boot into it so i can use default settings, im on an asus A7N8X-X mobo.

How do i remove this battery? it seems like when i try to lever it out with a small screwdriver the plastic shell around it would snap.

Yup just snapped the plastic shell and still no battery. Can anyone find a link that shows how to remove one of these?

there is a little clip that holds the battery down... you have to push the clip, and pull the battery out from that end. i've never had a hard time getting one out before. and I had to remove the battery on an A7V8X-X no more than 2 weeks ago... that's how it's done on that board.

What type of mem are we talkin about?
Also it's better to leave the mem timings to "auto adjust". Should be safer steps for beginning
