I believe Matsonic may be owned by Pc-Chips. If so avoid this board like the plague.

The Matsonic MS8127C is the exact same board that you get when you buy a K7VZA from ECS, or an M807 from PC-Chips.

The board got reviewed by the usual suspects (Tom's, Sysopt, and many more), and they're happy with it. Performance and stability are in the top range.

What you don't get are extra bits that help overclocking. It's a board made to be simple and cheap, it features no extras over what the KT133/686B chipset has to offer as it is, 1 AGP, 5 PCI, 1 AMR, 4 USB, onboard sound coming from the 686B. No RAID, no voltage, bus speed or multiplier fiddling.

I bought one last week with a Duron 800 and have been very happy with it so far. No crashes yet and setup was easy, also I like that you can specify IRQ's. For $85.00 + tax for the board not a bad deal.

If its the same board as the ECS K7VZA then it is a good board... But as Peter said it is not and OC`ers board by no means... Its just a stable plain Jane board with very few thrills... But is a cheap solution for the everyday user... ;)

Have bought several combo`s and built with the ECS board no problems at all... :)
