I'm considering making a 2x160GB Seagate Barracuda RAID 0 array on my A7N8X Deluxe mobo, but I vaguely remember someone, somewhere having problems. Is there anyone that can tell me that you have either a) Tried a serial raid array with the onboard ports and failed or b) tried a serial raid array with the onboard ports and succeeded (if so, what drives did you use)?
I don't care for conjecture or wild assumptions. I can do that myself, thank you.
I'd rather not spend the $360 without knowing for dead sure that this'll work so thanks for anyone that's already gone out and tested the waters.
