Serial Ported NIC......

hey, i just got my old laptop back from my cabin and i was wondering if there was a way to hook it up through a serial port. I want to make the lappy use the Serial ported NIC to hook to my lan so i can get cable on it. The thing is this serial port NIC doesnt have any numbers on it so im a little confused on where to get drivers or anything like that. please lmk what ya can find, thanks! The lappy is currently running under windows 98SE i believe.

its has a ethernet port and it connects to your comp via serial port.

Sounds super slow, had an idsn u interface that went through serial, unbelievably slow, can you say bottleneck. However if its all you got give it a try. Good luck
