Serial Number & ASUS SLI-Deluxe Question

My chipset fan on my ASUS SLI-Deluxe finally failed. In preparation for calling for the fan replacement, I need my serial number. I cannot seem to find it among my paperwork. Is the serial number the ten characters on the sticker on the parallel port? The sticker says Asus SLI Deluxe, has a barcode, and underneath the barcode is ten characters. Is that it? Many thanks in advance.
 
serial number is on the retail box and i dont thing they asks u for serial number when u call them for the replacement fan.
 
They're not asking for serial numbers anymore. (Well, atleast they didn't ask me for my serial number).

Yeah, Im pretty sure the number on that sticker is your serial number. Your SN is also on the big sticker on bottom/front of the box.

See, the funny part is that the mobo box doesn't have the retail sticker on it. I ordered the mobo through Monarch, using their motherboard/cpu /memory combination. If they just put it with the rest of the paperwork, I can't seem to find it. Otherwise, they must have just forgotten to put it on/lost it when they put together everything.

 
There should be a sticker on the parallel port with your SN# on it. You're going to have to open up your computer to see it (unless you have a clear panel).
