Serial management of my Intel 510T switch?

I've accidentally reset the configuration of my Intel 510T switch, meaning I can no longer use telnet for mgmt.

I have to setup telnet access through the DB9 serial port on the front of the box, which I have no problem with, but cannot remember if I have to use a null-modem cable or just a straight-through serial cable.

Does anyone know?

indeed, and if you need to reset the password, Intel has a program to do that based on it's mac

man that thing's ancient stuff...I used a Cisco console cable and it worked for me. You just need another DB-9 connector on the other end to make it DB-9 to DB-9.
