Only thing that really bothers me about all this is how he managed to do this in the first place.
Now I work at a hospital in downtown Detroit and it's extremely common to have prisoners on the units, we even have a police detail with 2 jail cells at the back of the ER and now I'm not sure of this hospitals policy on prisoners and obviously it's a little different(our security guards are armed with glock 9mm and not afraid to pull them) and when we have a prisoner on the unit, his bed is not shown, door is closed and the prisoner has one leg and one arm cuffed to the bed. If he is a low risk prisoner he has one police officer, high risk has 2.
I just I dont know. I hope that something can be learned from all this. And thank God he was caught before anyone else was hurt.
