I'm looking for a regular serial cable, the kind that modems used to use before usb. I've looked at several places, newegg, compusa, even walmart, but nobody carries them. Closest I could find was a cable with serial on one end and something else on the other. My UPS uses serial to connect with my computer and the cable I have now is too short, so my UPS can't shut down my pc when something happens.
 
Walmart had one, but it cost me dearly. Paid over 20 bucks for it, but I needed it as my monitor came and I needed to check it for problems. Thanks guys, I'll know where to go next time around.
