a friend of mine needs 1 male and 1 female serial cable end. he doesn't need the actual cable part as he's making his own cable. I don't know what kind of cable he is making (he builds lots of sound equipment stuff so maybe its for that) so don't ask.

know anywhere he can buy them? would radio shack carry them?
