Serial-Attached SCSI v. Solid State Storage

solid state if reads are your main goal... I'd assume writes would decent as well on solid state - but haven't seen many review yet
 
Reads / acces time = solid state
writes = SAS 15k rpm drives
15krpm SAS drives are still much more cost effective as well.
