Serial ATA

I think it's q2 - q3 of this year.. sooner the better... i'm holding off on buying additional storage..
 
I am planning on doing my big upgrade only once Serial ATA is out and integrated onto the motherboards. I hope it will be before the summer as that is my hopeful upgrade target time-frame.

smaller cables for one. I hate ide cables
faster data transfer.
I don't think there's a 2 device limit per channel, and no master/slave crap
