serial ata problems

hi,

i have an msi 655max with onboard serial ata raid and a seagate 80sata drive hooked up to it. i installed windows on it all the drivers and such. i shutdown my pc toinstall a dvd burner . when i started it back up my hard drive wasnt detected so i went into the promise utility to see what was up it detected the drive but when i went to dreate an array and save it . an error poped up and said and error occured and the machine must be rebooted.

Did you reboot as instructed? If so, what happened? What was the error message? We need some more specific information before we can really help you...

yes it rebooted and it does the same exact thing after i reboot what other info do you need
