I don't know whether to be happy or sad. That was a hilarious movie, but sooooo dumb. I was just indexing my movies and came along the fact that they are planning a sequel for 2004 called "Seriously Dude, Where's My Car?"

SWEET!
DUDE!
SWEET!
DUDE!

The first was dumb fun, but the sequel will probably forget the "fun" part.

I Think I'll watch the Bill & Ted movies again instead :)

[RANT]Why are you complaining? If you saw the first movie, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN!!! Hollywood makes movies based on what people have seen in the past! :|:|:| If you saw the original, It's YOUR fault the sequel's getting made! :|:|:| [/RANT]

I love movies like 'Dude Where's My Car.' They make the perfect payback when my girlfriend makes me go see movies about Greek weddings.

Deep down inside, I'm an angry, disgruntled, young man looking for attention. ;)

But seriously, I wonder why people see such stuff, while having every opportunity beforehand to read reviews and watch the previews, thus knowing very well what it's going to be like, and then come away disappointed. What drives a person to watch crap like Darkness Falls, Next Friday, Exit Wounds, and other stuff, and then pass up on the work of geniuses like Spirited Away or Gattaca?

I thought the original was a pretty good movie. It had that way-out-there wackiness that is missing from most modern movies.

Who ever said we tried comparing them? Sometimes you just want an hour and a half of mind numbing dumbness to pass the time.

If that's the reason, then more power to you. Unfortunately, I have things called budgets and time constraints. I admit I'm not the smartest consumer myself -- I saw Daredevil, knowing beforehand it might not be all that great, and sure enough, it wasn't -- but there are some things out there that people should have enough sense not to see.

Meh. I can count on one hand the number of movies I saw in theatre last year. I just wait till they hit rental or cable TV.

Well, i'd rather watch Dude the Trilogy, then chicago, big fat greek, titanic, anime, etc...but then again i'm a unique rebel, just like everyone else. I loved the first one, and granted there's not much of a direction to go with for a sequel, but their characters are priceless imo. If people can be entertained by Def Comedy, MTV, Survivor, Springer, Jackass, etc...then surely there's room for the next generation of Leslie Neilsons and Mel Brooks.
