I have a few unanswered 9/11 questions. Perhaps some people here can provide insight.
1. On 9/11/2001, at around 8:15AM I was at the Staples on Fulton Street and Water Street, a block away from the South Street Seaport, to purchase some things. When the first plane struck I saw people were running towards the burning tower to take pictures. I was told about it thought nothing of it since, a couple of weeks earlier, a Frenchman had parachuted into the Statue of Liberty. When the second plane struck, the whole building shook and a Staples salesperson, who was on a ladder getting a printer, fell hard to the ground. That's when I saw people running away from the burning towers. It was now obvious that this was no accident. Anyway, the Staples was shutdown shortly afterwards and I headed west towards the Fulton Street subway stop but was turned away. As I headed back east I remember hearing from a radio that there was a car-bomb at the United States Supreme Court. I never forgot that but did not hear of it again. The reason why I still remember it was because it cemented into my mind that the attacks on the towers may not have been an isolated incident. Did anyone else hear about this?
2. How come there are no video footage of a plane hitting the Pentagon. This is one of the most secured buildings in the world so I would expect there to be cameras everywhere. But not one footage has been released to the public.
3. On 9/10/2001 Donald Rumsfeld announced that there was $2.3t of waste in the Pentagon. I remember this because, a day or two after the attacks, the chief of police at the time announced that he had cheated on his wife and did a bunch of other unsavory things. Both of these news events were overshadowed by the attacks but the Pentagon one seemed well-timed whereas the Chief of police was just exploiting a tragedy cause he knew no one would care. Anyway, does it not seem odd that we would have such massive waste announced at such a time?
