We have an atheist government? Thats news to me. What a happy world that would be.
Honestly, how do you say the separation of church and state is nonsense, and then later say it would be bad to have a church run government? If if wasn't for the separation, then we would have a theocratic government, and it would be horrible.

The point I was trying to make is that the sep of church and state has gone too far, to the extent of being atheistic. If we have a non-theocratic government, then we have an atheist government. There is no middle ground, try as we may.

Regarding the original topic: if Jesus dolls are not acceptable toys, then sep of church and state has crossed the line. The government has no business saying that Jesus dolls are unacceptable. Flame away.

Really? You mean believers who chose not shove their faith down other people's throats are actually atheists? Mindboggling!

Surely you won't deny that Christians slaughtered millions of people in the name of religion? When did I ever said anything about Christians should keep their mouth shut? You can say whatever you want, I could care less. Unlike fundies, I believe in freedom of speech.
Surely, you are wrong. The fact that some people have killed others in the name of Christianity, doesn't mean that they were Christians.

They killed in the name of christianity and they were christians, nothing you say changes that fact.

So, I repeat...there are no Christians going around blowing up tall buildings, hyjacking aircraft and slaughtering innocent people.

Following your line of thought, there's no muslims doing this either. But, obviously, you're wrong.

Liar. Your bible specifically makes no mention whatsoever as to a date, either of jesus' date of birth, nor to his date of conception. BTW, only people with single-digit IQ's would celebrate the day someone was conceived.

Actually the Bible tells us in what period of the year Christ wasn't born.

"The Gospel accounts indicate that Jesus was born before the winter season:
Luke 2:8 "Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night." {Sheep were never in the field by night in Palestine after the third week of October.} "
