seperating IDE wires,,,home project

I have seperated my IDE cable wires,,,no knicks,,all clean seperation,,(((looks like spaghetti with the ends still attached,,my question is this,,,i want to wrap them to make them round,,,are the wires in sequence?,,,i mean some of them will be wrapped around others so i'm wondering the current still run true?,,,just something i have in mind to do,,,any comments appreciated,,tyia

Wow, that must have been tedious :confused: wrap 'em up, try 'em out....current shouldn't be an issue, if it was, having them parallel would be worse.

I seriously doubt it will cause any problems. Give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, you can always separate them back out.

thx for the prompt reply,,,tedious,,not really,,used my finger nail to to seperate them whilst watching a hockey game,,damn,,,must saved myself 5 or 6 smokes,,but just what i wanted to here too was the go ahead,,i have some strips of thin tan color leather which i will be braiding on them,,,i tried on my floppy cable,,,keeps nice and round and original looking too,,thx again:cool: :cool::cool::D
