separators missing in 'My Computer' In tile view

I'm running XP SP2 X64 and for some reason when 'My coputer' is viewed as tiles the separators are missing from the drives. I mean C: (hard drive) is right next to A: (Floppy drive) and D: (hard drive) is right next to E: (DVD drive) and so on for my USB drives. Now if I log on as administrator and not my user account (set as administrator) they are set out how they should be. Does anybody know how to get his back to normal ? I'm assuming it was a reg tweak or a tweaking program I may have run but can't find it anywhere.

View -> Arrange Icons by -> Show in groups

My icons are already/still arranged in groups. it's just that the spaces/separators are missing. Here's a screenshot for better look at whats wrong.

Set it to arrange by type and make sure Show in Groups is checked.
