As the title suggests, this would be so much better than people claiming you aren't allowed to discuss the competition in so & so thread.

Just a thought, looking at VCG.

Please don't. I get why it might seem like a good idea, but it won't work out well. People will argue regardless, and it just ends up fragmenting and hampering discussions when you have so many forums and subforums.

I really don't even like the AMD/Nvidia split, which makes for 3 possible forums/subforums to navigate through just for graphics cards. This doesn't need to be Reddit.

Light reminders and moderation when necessary to keep people on topic is all that's needed. The forum might require a heavier hand to keep users from getting too boisterous, but such is an online community when you have people with strong loyalties and opinions.
