Sentinels of Freedom. Looks like Freedom Force. Plays like Xcom.

Getting mediocre reviews which is a shame because this seems like something I would really enjoy.

If you need something like Xcom but have had enough Xcom, I recommend Hard West.
You're a zombie gunslinger.

I don't need more constant misses with a 98% hit probability.

This reminds me of playing Mutant Year Zero. I realized later on that it must determine rolls as soon as you move to a specific position. You could have a 98% chance to hit, save the game and if you missed you would always miss.

Very Zen: RNJesus teaches you about the illusion of control and predicted outcomes in highly complex systems.

I dont know about Sentinals of Freedom, but in Hard West a 75% chance was actually a guaranteed hit in most situations.

@shortylickens

I loved Freedom Force! It wouldn't have been as much fun turn-based though. Not sure if Sentinels of Freedom would scratch the itch.

IIRC it was a setting you could change in XCOM Enemy Unknown / Enemy Within that you could randomise the results of a firefight if you re-loaded the game.
