Sensors stuck???

Ok, so I have this E7200 "very" overclocked and I was measuring my temps a few days ago and they were around 58-59 C ( RealTemp full load ) with some 23-24 C ambient temperature.

Today, we had some 31 C outside and quite about the same temperature inside and I said it's a good time to check the temperatures again. And guess what, I have both cores maxed out at 60C and no matter what I do they don't increase at all.

So what is going on, the temperature inside my room is way higher then a few days ago , my idle temp for my videocard for example, went from 40 to 45 C, so I think that the cores should have gone over 60C. Are the sensors stuck at 60 C??? Can something like this happen with these Intel cpus? I've also reduced my fans speed and the temperatures are the same.

Ok, I've stopped all my case fans and cpu cooler ones, closed the window of the room, fired Orthos and temperatures went as high as 63 C. So they seem that they are not stuck afterall . It seems that I have a damn good cooler.

Realtemp is meant for overclocking. For everyday use, get speedfan. The core temp sensors in wolfdales are only accurate at high temps. Just look at the cpu temp.

No, both programs show the same temperature but they have different T-junction values ( 95 for RealTemp and 100 for SpeedFan) so it's the same temperature after all.

Just use the distance to Tjunction Max. All the programs out there are just guessing what the Tjunction Max value is.
