Like the topic says, has anyone used both of these headsets and can tell me how they compare? In terms of how comfortable they are, how good the audio quality is, and how the mic transmits. Thanks in advance.

I just got the 150's and all I can say is "wow" what a difference. Much better than my Logitech neck wrap things that I had(same ones that will come with BF2). Sound is excellent, good bass response, and mic pics up very nicely. Since the 150 ear donuts rest on the ear instead of around the ear like the 160's, you do notice them after an hour or so. But for me, just pulling them off my ear for a sec allows me to keep on going. I did not go with the 160's because of the complete ear wrap. I still want to hear outside noises (lan parties, hearing kids when wife is gone). I found out with some older head phones that were completely over the ear that I left them partially off my ear just so I could hear other things.

Either way you will not lose. Just mtc.

PC160s are open-air. You can still hear outside noises just fine.

I wear open air HD470s at work and people will come into my cube and pretend I can't hear them. They get surprised when I start talking to them at normal volume and carry on a perfectly normal conversation with giant headphones on my head.

After using sealed and open-air cans, I must say the versatility of open air cans is nice. And I can game for 8 hours in my Over-ear Senns and forget they're on my head, get up and nearly yank my receiver off my desk. I'll never use 'on-ear' cans again.

For those with PC-150s, do you enable windows mic boost?
I played games without that turned on, and lots of people told me that my voice was rather faint.

So the only real difference between the PC150 and PC160 is that the 160 has caps that go around the ear?
