Sennheiser PC160 or Icemat Siberia with soundcard?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Icemat Siberia. Does it have an integrated external soundcard or something?

What soundcard / integrated sound is going with the Senn offering?

Well, it comes with the soundcard, its at tiger direct. Ill give you the link. The sennheiser has usb.

Oh, I thought the PC160 had 2x3.5mm plugs.

I have the Sennheiser 150's and I love them. Got it for 38.00 at Amazon. Never Had Icemat so I would say the 160's should be more than fine.

Senn's website lists 2x3.5mm as the connection type on pc160s

really makes you wonder which one sounds better.

If you want a good headset with a usb card get the PC155. But why do you need an external soundcard?

I would go with the Sennheiser's, hands down.

I want the sound card that comes with the headset, i dont want to have to buy one, thats why i want to get a usb headset.

Then the Sennheiser pc155 should be good for you. I am not sure about the icemat, though. Some people like it.
