The cable coming out the left cup broke and it's out of warranty.
Actually, this is the warranty replacement they sent me.

I checked around online and places want $25 for the cable when the headphones only cost me $35! :|

Anyone know where I can get replacements for cheaper?

is it completely broken? Try turning it around.. you can plug it in backwards, and then the connection will feel like it's loose.

It is completely and physically damaged.
The cable that connects to the gold-plated 1/8" (I believe) jack is dangling by a thread with all the copper (?) conductor wires shredded.

The only way for me to repair is to strip open the cable and solder it to the piece, which probably wouldn't even work that well.

You think that's bad... the wire in my HDR65s (wireless) going from the receiver piece on one ear to the other broke. Gotta get an entirely new set of phones ($125 USD) 🙁
