These normally sell for $100 but go on sale every so often.

I bought a pair from eCost earlier this year for around this price and they work great as isolation cans

I am newbie for these things. Does anybody think I can use it with my iRiver-H120? Please let me know...

I can power it to reasonable level wiith an ipod and other players so I'm sure H120 will work. It is a large, sealed type headphones so it's not practical in places where you have to be aware of your surroundings.

Actually are a few of these left. When I went in earlier it said Quantity - 0. But when I came back, they had 4, then I hit refresh, and they had 5. So I got a pair. This website apparently charges a handling fee on all items, $4.95 for this item.

ordered a pair, i was getting a different pair of sennheisers, cancelled that order for these, price is almost the same but these are better. Still says 15 in stock.

good deal, hmmmm should I get it or wait for good deal on AKG headphones? I think I should wait because AKG is so much smoother

I've had my set of 280 pro's since last christmas. I got them for $70 and I like them a lot. I wanted a closed set as to not bother people around me when I was listening at night or whatever.

Plus, in the winter they act as earmuffs.

I really question this company's inventory count, not to say anything bad about them as I've generally had good experiences. But, I had ordered a SD disk when inventory was somewhere in the 200s and well, I got a message saying it was cancelled from my order after being placed on backorder for a couple days. It feels as if they drop the numbers low to get more frantic buying, and then bump them a few when it hits 0. However, this deal is tempting... it might just replace my open Sennheiser 433.

It did look like it went up again a few after it went down. You might be right about them keeping the number low to make people buy.

They could have 1,000 units, or 1, as long as the price is good, and I get the one that I order, I don't care what they report =) The # they have listed has little to no bearing on whether I buy or not.
