Great set of headphones. I own a pair myself.

Just a heads up though, these go on sale fairly regularly at amazon for between $60 and $80 shipped and a quick search on froogle turned up several places selling at $79 plus shipping. This may turn out to be very hot though if there are any good coupons around for shopnbc.com...

Sennheiser writes their MSRPs, releases them to the public, then tells their retailers to sell the cans for half MSRP.

It's a sales gimmick.

The list price for these cans is $100 flat. Like most MSRPs, one can usually find them for under that. Don't let Sennheiser tell you otherwise.

They are quite decent cans for the price - you can get far worse for more $$, but they're a bit too dull for my tastes - Beyerdynamic DT770 pro's have turned me into a basshead, and these came nowhere near in that department.
