Oh - pretty important if you hate this type of thing...they have asymmetrical cord length to each ear, after the split.

Yeah, lengths of that type mean that the longer side is to be worn around your neck. I guess it's an exercise thing? *shrug*

Hot price. They're about $30 on amazon right now, for reference.

In ears have always been underwhelming to me. They're good for running/working outside and so on, but $75 for in-ears is stupid. Granted, that's why they're on sale. I might grab a pair to replace my JVC Marshmallows.

I find these types of earbuds horrible for running outside. They block outside noise which makes it dangerous with other people/bikes/cars/etc. And a problem I always have is that they slid out due to sweat. They may be great in the gym.

fwiw - they were a Shell Shocker for $17.99 yesterday

In ears are all I use. Nothing comes close to the portability of IEMs, and with proper ear seal the bass can be quite fantastic. I've paid anywhere from 20-100 on IEMs and never felt like I wasted money. Hippo VBs are some of the best earphones you can get. If you don't understand how they can be worth $80, then you simplay haven't heard ones that WERE worth $80. Not everything that's expensive is worth the price and that goes for any product type.

I'm just curious, which more expensive IEMs have you tried that you weren't happy with? I've always heard good things about Shure phone but always found them uncomfortable and not worth the premium.
