That seems pretty hot. According to camelcamelcamel, the cheapest they've been on Amazon is $79.95 for a brief period. I got a pair of HD555s in January of 2010 and they're still going strong, save for a small bit of cracking on part of the plastic near one earpiece (likely from dropping onto the floor thanks to a swivel chair). They're also quite comfortable to wear for long periods and don't bug me when I wear my glasses.
