Don't know how many people here use external audio for their videos. Just came across Sennheiser's new AVX wireless mic packs.
I quite like this. Quick pairing between mic pack and receiver, spread spectrum technology, auto gain. Audio quality seems great too. Uses proprietary battery packs but has a standard micro-USB charge port allowing you to use external power packs.
I've used the G3 quite a bit. While they are quite good, they are a bit of a pain to set up and can be prone to interference.
The big downside with the AVX though is it's $200 more than the G3.
