Not many reviews on the web, but I dont think it would perform very well, since its not even on the hardocp comparison... or maybe they didnt care to send Kyle a sample...

Nickel does not transfer heat very well, but a coating of it would prolly not hinder performance. IMO, stick with the Alpha PAL8045, PAL6035, and SK6.
