Sending Ringers to phone

My manual makes no mention of whether or not i can send ringers to it. However i have a short .wav file that i would like to set as ringer. It is on my computer right now.

Do all phones accept ringers, or not. In other words, can i send ringers to that phone, or send it to that phones e-mail?

I think it needs to be a qcp file.

Are .qcp smaller than .wav files. Additionally how would i do that?
