Well I need to send someone some money. I didn't bring an evelope and/or stamp with me. When you go to the post office to send one, can you pay extra for them to send it? Or will they give you an envelope for it or something? It's been a while since I've needed to send one... thanks.

You have to buy envelopes and postage. Most of the time, you'll be able to buy packages of a certain number of envelopes. When it's all sealed up and addressed, walk up to the counter and they'll weigh it and tell you how much postage you'll need.

$0.40 which gets you an envelope with first class postage stamp.

Ended up $.45 in my area, but same difference. I ripped up an express mail cardboard mailer to wrap around the money order because the envelope was a little see through... thanks!
