sending audio over wireless?

I saw something at best buy that does this.. for $160 (after employee discount..) but it does more than I need.. (video..)

I only need audio. Is there anything that streams audio over a 802.11b/g network?

winamp etc....it's just data..all that matters is how you want to access it and output it.

yeah.. but I want something that i can like, hook up next to my reciever... that does NOTHING except play audio that is streamed to it.


There's an expensive ass one that does video too

I've seen devices that are just decoders that connect over 802.11b to a server in your home to stream audio to a receiver in another room... but they weren't cheap. I'm sure I saw it at best buy... and it didn't do video. I think it was by Diamond/RIO (was a while ago) so perhaps it's no longer available.

Sony and Linksys both make products that do this. Sony's however "only works with a VAIO computer".
