Yep, USPS is the way to go. Standard shipping rates since they're being sent to an APO in the states first (Priority is 4.05$ for up to a pound)

You will need to fill out a customs forms, the small green and white if it is less than a pound and the large white form if it is greater than a pound.

There are restrictions on what you can send them. No objectionable material (ie porn), plus the standard prohibited items like tobacco and alcohol.

You better be including autographed photos and maybe a pair of panties from the strippers you work with for your friend. Otherwise, it's a waste of a good package in any good Marines eyes.

USPS also has a Flat Rate box. Regardless of the weight, the cost will remain the same as long as the item(s) fit in the box and it seals properly. I use this all the time to send misc. items to my son in South Korea.

I'd recommend insurance to if its worth anything. I've had mail disappear a few times already.

$8.10 for a flat rate box.

Takes about a week for my little brother to get any packages I send to him at LSA Anaconda.
