I know the Fort Leavenworth Base Exchange got 20 units. The local Best Buy had 40. Another poster here said the Gamestop he worked at had 32. And your private sources have 20 or 30 each? Smells fishy.
No, they have 1000 units each. That's
my point. 1000 is the minimum quantity of XBOXes that ANYONE can order from the factory.
The chain had to order 1000 minimum, but the local stores only get so many. And why would they sell 1000 to your guy and not another much larger customer
they want to keep happy. And thats assuming the minimum order thing is true. Not everyone can call up and order 1000 units.
Who's got who by the balls? Microsoft, who's making the most sought-after gift this entire year, and who can sell to anyone they please because of the demand, or big chains like Walmart, whose profits depend on MS?
